Custom attributes

Attribute definition

Custom attributes let you add project-specific data fields that can be attached to model files, model objects, and Sketch objects.

Attributes are created and maintained in Project Settings → Attributes and values are edited in ObjectInfo → Custom.

Edit - properties

After attributes are defined, you can enter values for model objects:

• Select a model object.
• Open ObjectInfo → Custom.

• Enter values and save.

Edit – File properties

• After attributes are defined, you can enter values for model files:
• Select a model file.
• Open ObjectInfo → Custom.
• Click Edit.

Enter values in the Value column.

Edit - Sketch properties

For Sketch objects, attribute values are edited the same way:

• Select a Sketch object.
• Open ObjectInfo → Custom.

• Enter values and save.
